This is a 2 day forging and leather working event taking place on our 17 acre farm in beautiful Deleon Springs FL. Participants will forge their own Full Tang Camp Style Knife as well as craft their own leather sheath for that knife.
Drinks will be provided each day but you will be responsible for your own food, Breakfast, Lunches and Dinner etc.
( But my wife always ends up making us something great )
***Classes are normally on weekends but I can do weekdays also if that's preferred

Day 1 : We will be Forging, Profiling, and Heat Treating your blade. All blades will be Full tang, with a forged finish.
Blade Shapes can vary with personal preference but ideally they need to be between a 3-7" blade and able to fit in one of my predetermined sheath styles if possible
(No Machetes, Chefs Knives, Swords etc. A lot of work and time goes into the knife styles you choose
Day 2 : We will be cleaning up and finishing, working on Handles, and finishing Sheaths
Start time will be 8am and run until 4-5pm . Day 2 depending ion how we progress we may be done by 2-3pm.
There will be a 90min break for lunch each day.

Sometimes we have to change worn out hardware from straps that are overused or just older versions from years ago. The most common hardware we change out is the Brass Scissor snaps. We change out this hardware at our cost for hardware.

Shake or brush off dirt, sand or any other abrasive material.
For small spots, use cold water and mild soap, and a sponge or brush.
With a little soap, gently massage the spotted surface.
Rinse with a sponge and cold water. Let the bag air dry.
